Stagecoach & Arriva Launch New 24 Hour Liverpool Bus Service

Out of Home International, part of Media Agency Group, has launched a traditional out of home advertising campaign with leading bus operators Stagecoach and Arriva to promote new 24 hour bus routes in Liverpool.

A range of six sheet advertisements and phone box outdoor ads will be on display around Liverpool in the coming months, raising awareness of the 86 service and its new 24/7 timetable.

From 4 September, the 86 and 86A buses will run 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide the people of Liverpool with convenient and affordable late night transport. The extended 86 Stagecoach service will cover a major route for commuters and students, running from Liverpool One via Smithdown Road to Penny Lane. The Arriva 86A will extend to Liverpool South Parkway and Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

The out of home ads are located in some prime locations in the city, positioned in key spots along the bus route itself. 98% of the population spot out of home advertising each week, making it an effective method of delivering a message to a large, targeted demographic.

Managing Director of Media Agency Group, John Kehoe, said:

“Media Agency Group is delighted to be working with Stagecoach and Arriva on this joint campaign. It’s great to be delivering news of the 86’s new 24 hour service with this eye-catching traditional out of home campaign. We’re sure the convenient service will prove very popular with the people of Liverpool and we’re confident that these ads will help to spread the word.”
